Demons Close Out Season With Win
The Dodge City Red Demons knew Friday night at Memorial Stadium was going to be the last time they would play this season.

So they decided to end the season in "Grand style" by breaking one more streak that has haunted the team in the past with a 42-28 victory over the Goddard Lions. The "Streak Breakers," as called by head coach Justin Burke, to end a 21-game district losing streak to close out the season.

A couple of players ended up closing out the season with milestone marks for this year's campaign.

Quinton Robinson rushed for 170 yards and closed out with 1,009 rushing yards for the season; while receiver Mykael Thompson earned 247 receiving yards, which pushed him to 1,022 yards on the season. Complete Daily Globe Story
